A deep intuition
The idea for this project stemmed from a profound intuition during a trip in Australia. The day after a walk in a wood with fabulous trees, as I walked, a thought became very clear:
"I must create a new ethical and privacy-respecting dating site."

How does the “match” system work?
Once you complete your questionnaire, our algorithm identifies compatible profiles. Then our team reviews and validates each proposed match. If two people are confirmed as a “match,” they receive an email from OldFashiond containing the other person’s first name and phone number and profile picture if there is one.

Can I chat with someone before a match is confirmed?
No. Communication is only possible after both sides have mutually validated the match, ensuring sincere and thoughtful interest from each side.
Confidentiality of your data is a priority for OldFashiond.
All personal information submitted by users remains the sole property of OldFashiond. None of this data will be rented or sold to third parties or to other users of the site.
